World Cup 2026 Pool · For teams of 25 to 1,000+
Your office World Cup pool. Your company's brand.
30 days of competition between your teams. One-time payment, self-serve in 5 minutes — no sales calls, no annual contracts.
Free up to 25 coworkers. No card. No IT ticket. World Cup kicks off June 11.
Why run it
The 2026 World Cup is the rare cultural moment your office gets handed for free.
Your team is going to talk about the tournament for a month — in DMs, in meetings, in the lunch line. The question isn't whether the World Cup happens at your company. It's whether you channel it into something that connects people, or let it scatter into 47 unread Slack threads.
Cross-team connection that costs nothing to maintain
30+ days of natural conversation between teams that never overlap on calendars. Sales vs Engineering. NYC vs SF vs remote. No team-building activity to schedule, no offsite to book, no awkward icebreakers. The tournament does the work.
Defensible engagement, with data
Gallup found 21% productivity uplift on engaged teams. Toqui gives you participation rate, real-time leaderboard, and per-department dashboards. Walk into your QBR with numbers, not anecdotes.
Plays for the non-fan, too
Casual mode lets people predict only the winner — no scores, no tactics, no soccer literacy required. The colleague who has never watched a match competes head-to-head with the World Cup superfan.
Less than one team lunch
~$2.50 per person, one-time, for the whole tournament. Compared to a team lunch ($20–30/person) or engagement software ($5–10/person/month), it is the cheapest culture intervention you will run all year.
What always breaks
Every office World Cup pool dies the same way
The Excel sheet that breaks
One wrong VLOOKUP and the standings vanish. The commissioner spends Sunday morning debugging pivot tables instead of watching. By the group stage, nobody trusts the numbers.
The Slack channel at 400 unread
Picks arrive after kickoff. Someone replied in DM instead of the thread. Half the office still doesn't know the deadline locked twenty minutes ago.
The commissioner who quits by Matchday 3
One person volunteered. They updated points by hand for two rounds, then their real job got in the way. The pool limps along and quietly dies before the Round of 16.
The legal-gray-zone question HR can't answer
Someone says "prize money" in a meeting and the whole thing stalls. Finance wants to know where the pot lives. Legal wants to know which state statute applies. The pool never launches.
How it works
5-minute setup. Zero admin after that.
Link and go
Coworkers join from their phone in one tap. No download, no corporate login, no app store. Paste a link in Slack, Teams, or email.
Real-time auto-scoring
Brazil scores, your leaderboard updates in seconds. No commissioner math, no "when are points going up?" messages, no Sunday-morning spreadsheet patch.
Department vs. department
Sales vs. Engineering. NYC vs. SF vs. remote. Group members by department, office, or region. One pool, same rules.
Clear, locked-in rules
Pick a preset: Casual, Classic (3-1-0), or Cascade Bracket. Or build your own. Rules lock when you publish. They don't change mid-tournament.
Here's how a World Cup pool works end-to-end.
Built for People Ops
Made for HR teams, not for sportsbooks
No money on the platform
Toqui never handles entry fees or prize money. It's a scoring engine and a leaderboard. Recreational office pools with no money on the platform are legal in all 50 US states, same as the March Madness bracket at work. This is general information, not legal advice.
Data stays minimal
Name, email, picks. Nothing else. No HRIS integration unless you explicitly set one up on Enterprise. Encryption in transit and at rest. Request a full data export or deletion once the tournament ends.
Inclusive by design, no IT ticket
Casual mode lets the non-fan play: pick the winner, skip the score. Runs in any browser, no VPN, no install, no corporate SSO required for basic use. Most culture teams launch without filing an IT ticket.
Pricing
~$2.50 per person. Pay once.
One-time payment per pool. No subscriptions, no annual contracts, no per-seat HR software math. Free up to 25 coworkers. Pro scales to 1,000 members and adds custom branding (your logo, your colors). Enterprise adds full whitelabel with your own domain, account management, and enterprise billing for 1,000+ members.
Start free with your first department. When the buzz catches on, upgrade to the tier you need without losing tournament progress.

The difference
Self-serve in 5 minutes. No "book a demo".
Every other whitelabel office-pool tool makes you email sales first. PoolTracker's “Private Label” is a contact form. RunYourPool's “custom branding” needs a sales call. By the time you're live, the group stage has started.
Toqui is the only whitelabel office pool you can set up yourself today. Pick your tier, upload your logo, choose your colors, publish. If your company has 1,000+ members or needs custom invoicing, that's when we talk.
And if you're coming from the public-bracket world: Toqui isn't the ESPN Bracket Challenge. Your CEO doesn't compete against two million strangers. Picks are private until the deadline locks. The pool is your office, your rules, your brand.

Frequently asked
What HR asks us
Is a World Cup office pool legal in all US states?▼
Yes, as long as no money moves through the platform. Toqui doesn't handle entry fees or prize money. It's a scoring engine, like a smarter spreadsheet. That keeps the platform out of every state's gambling statutes. Pooling money off-platform is state-dependent: a handful of states have stricter rules. Gift cards, catered lunches, bragging rights: that's on your group, not on Toqui. This is general information, not legal advice.
Do coworkers have to pay anything?▼
Never. Joining a Toqui pool is always free. Only the commissioner or the company pays, and only above 25 members.
Can we run department vs. department, or multi-office?▼
Yes. It's one of the most common setups. Group members by department, office, or region, and see both individual and group leaderboards. Everyone competes in the same pool under the same rules.
Does this work for Canadian offices too?▼
Yes. Canada co-hosts the 2026 World Cup alongside the US and Mexico, and Toqui works the same way for Canadian teams. Same link-based invite, same leaderboard, same Pro or Enterprise tier.
Can we integrate with Slack or Microsoft Teams?▼
Not today. We use a shareable link that works in any chat: Slack, Teams, iMessage, email, or an intranet post. One-tap join on mobile. Native Slack and Teams apps are on the roadmap but aren't required to run a pool.
Can we upgrade mid-tournament if the pool grows?▼
Yes. Pay only the difference to the next tier. No data lost, no ranking reset. The pool keeps going.
Can we brand the pool with our company logo?▼
Yes. On the Pro tier and above. Your logo, your colors, your pool URL. Self-serve, no sales call required. Talk to sales if you're over 1,000 members or need custom billing.
Found this on your own?
Forward it to whoever owns culture at your company.
If you think this would land at your office this World Cup, send it to whoever runs People / HR / Internal Comms. Five minutes of their time vs. a month of natural team engagement.
